Found April 30, 2013 on FF Locker Room:
2.2 Tennessee Titans Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee (6-4, 196) With the second pick in round two, the Titans selected, local boy, Justin Hunter. Hunter came into the draft with one of the best combinations of size and skill. He has the size to win jump balls and the speed to get past corners playing up on him. With the Titans never knowing what they will get out of super talent Kenny Britt, it’s time to draft someone to take his place. If Hunter can add a few pounds of muscle, look out. He reminds me of AJ Green and can jump up high to nab balls out of the air.  With second-year receiver Kendall Wright and Nate Washington also on the roster, Hunter may be buried on the depth chart to start the year, but Britt will more than likely get in trouble or injure himself. Hunter should get his chance at some point.   The post Tennessee Titans Select WR Justin Hunter in Second Round appeared first on FFLockerRoom | NFL - MLB News | Fantasy Sports Advice | Sports Talk.

The Titans Waive Wide Receiver Lavelle Hawkins

The Tennessee Titans have waived veteran WR Lavelle Hawkins. Hawkins spent the past 5 seasons with the Titans after getting drafted out of California in the fourth round, but has never been much of a factor in the passing game. And with the Titans drafting younger, more talented receivers in recent years, Hawkins was made expendable. He had one decent season during the 2010 campaign...

Titans Release WR Lavelle Hawkins

Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans have informed WR Lavelle Hawkins on Wednesday that he is being released. Hawkins, 26, was set to make $1.9 million this season, but with the addition of Kevin Walter during free agency and the fact that they traded up for Justin Hunter, it seemed inevitable that a receiver would be released at some point. Hawkins finished the 2012 season with...

Titans release Lavelle Hawkins, two others

After signing 15 undrafted free agents despite only having 12 roster spots after selecting eight players in the draft, the Titans needed to clear some roster space. And they did, releasing wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins and waiving wide receiver Michael Calvin and safety Suaesi Tuimaunei. Obviously Hawkins is the biggest name of that trio. The Cal product was a fourth round pick...
