Could things get much worse for former Bengals, Bills, Cowboys, Eagles and 49ers wide receiver, Terrell Owens? Aside from not being able to get a job in the NFL since the conclusion of the 2010 season, he has also had many financial problems and has been released from the Allen Wranglers, an indoor football team. Now, according to Michael David Smith at ProFootballTalk, Owens has another problem to deal with.

Apparently a woman is claiming that she has embarrassing photos of Owens and is threatening to go public with them if he doesn't pay her an exorbitant amount of money to make the photos go away. In case you slept through law school, this could be branded as extortion and/or "blackmail".

Owens denied any of these photos' existences, saying:

"It’s obvious that she has nothing because it’s illegal with what she’s trying to do or otherwise TMZ would have bought the photos," Owens said. "This is a case of extortion, this is a waste of my time and you’re wasting your time because I have nothing to say."

"I’m not sure what you or her are trying to accomplish," Owens said. "At the end of the day God is good. It’s unfortunate people make attempts to ruin people’s lives."

Unfortunately for Owens, it just seems that the issues are piling on at one time. Hopefully he can prove that this woman's case is frivolous and can get at least one of these problems behind him. Owens' extortion issue follows just a few days after one was made public about the Redskins' rookie quarterback, Robert Griffin III.
