Despite all of his financial woes, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens owns a professional bowling team, according to Black Sports Online.
The name of Owens’ bowling team is the Dallas Strikers.
“I want to keep that competitive edge by getting involved with a sport I really enjoy,” Owens said on PBA.com. “I always felt that my time in Dallas was special and I had a great time while I was there. Hopefully we can put Dallas back on the map with a bowling championship.”
Owens co-owns the team with seven other celebs.
T.O. is one of the eight celebrity owners of this new PBA league, some of the names might be familiar to you. Jerome Bettis and Chris Paul are also owners.
