[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="600"] Could Terrell Owners become a member of the New York Jets soon?[/caption]
Terrell Owens is going to force his way onto the New York Jets whether they like it or not.
Now whether they reciprocate the love is a different story.
Sunday Terrell Owens took twitter to let the struggling New York Jets know he was available and had a soft spot for them.
Pro Football Talk via TSN is reporting that Owens let his feeling about the Jets be known again.
“The fact that the Jets are using cornerback Antonio Cromartie at wide receiver shows that they’re desperate, and they need an experienced receiver like me.”
“I’ve read a lot of tweets and everybody’s saying that I’m desperate, I’m begging for a job,” Owens said. “But it’s not begging for a job when you know you can still play at a high level, given the opportunity. When you have a defensive back playing offense and running routes, then I think that’s more desperate than my actual tweet itself.”
Owens thinks the Jets aren’t reciprocating the love because they deem him a distraction based of his lovely reputation.
Terrell for his part disputes that.
“That’s definitely a part of it,” Owens said. “I’ve matured. There’s things I’ve done in my career that I can honestly say were said and done out of immaturity.”
I’m not sure what the Jets issue is. Imagine the circus turning down a popular clown act or high wire act.

It’s on the record that Players View feels that Terrell Owens can still play. There is also the feeling that he creates these weird stumbling blocks for himself that for instance kept him from making the grade in Seattle.
In looking at the film that he generated as a Seahawk he had no problem getting open which is why he was targeted so much.
He just dropped crucial catches.When...
According to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News, the Jets aren’t interested in bringing in free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens even though head coach Rex Ryan wouldn’t rule it out.Forget about T.O. to the Jets. Sources just told me they have no interest in Owens. No surprise. Better chance they bring back Don Maynard.— Gary Myers (@garymyersNYDN) October 9, 2012This is...
GET YOUR POPCORN READY?
After Terrell Owens took to Twitter to plead with the Jets to take a flier on him, Jets head coach Rex Ryan didn't say the team would do so but didn't rule it out, either.
We all know that Terrell Owens desperately wants a job. That much was obvious when he lobbied the Jets on Twitter Monday night. But if you ask him if he’s desperate, as TSN did, he’ll say no.
In fact, he argues that the Jets are the ones that are desperate, since they have to use Antonio Cromartie at receiver.
“I’ve read a lot of tweets and everybody’s saying that I’m...

If the New York Jets are still looking at options at wide receiver, Terrell Owens believes he'd be an upgrade. Owens, who spent part of training camp with the Seattle Seahawks, said via Twitter during Monday's loss to the Houston Texans that he's ready if the Jets call. "Hey JETS!!! I'm available! If Terrell Owens were smart which we all know he is not, he would hang up his football cleats and call it a career. The Jets lining up a corner back at wide receiver isn’t desperate. Remember the guy in Dallas that played both ways? I think his name was Deion Sanders. I don’t care if Ownes took to twitter, sent a telegram, hand a note handed to Rex Ryan or what the case is. The...
And here you thought Terrell Owens was desperate when he offered his services to the Jets on Twitter. Well it seems that Rex Ryan may be even more desperate than Owens.

ESPN New York...

So, not to sound like the movie “Speed” but…. “Pop quiz hot shot, name the Jets receiving corps.” I bet most of you out there just failed our little pop quiz.I honestly feel bad for Mark Sanchez. The Jets top three projected receivers for the 2012 season — Santonio Holmes, Stephen Hill and tight end Dustin Keller — were out with various injuries for last night’s matchup...
We are halfway through the fantasy football regular season and if you have a losing record, it’s time to panic. While the right pickup on the Fantasy Football Week 6 waiver wire may help alleviate some of that stress, it is slim pickings on this week's wire so you may need a miracle.
