There was plenty of media in attendance for Terrell Owens' not-so-private workout. Not a single NFL team representative showed up to his public workout, though, according to NFL Network's Lindsay Soto via Shutdown Corner. Perhaps the scouts were at home watching on TV, as NFL Network aired the workout live. Owens can only hope for so much, but he was positive after his workout. "I'm not worried about the naysayers who say that I can't come back, that I'm wasting my time," he said to Soto after the workout. "I think what I showed today -- it speaks for itself."...

Terrell Owens Gets Stood Up
Terrell Owens held a public workout to drum up interest for his attempted return to the NFL. One problem: Not a single NFL team showed up to watch the workout. Apparently, nobody wants to roll the dice on a 37-year-old wide receiver who is coming off of a major knee injury … and that’s not even mentioning T.O.’s legendary ability to destroy team chemistry.
Despite the non-existent...
T.O.'s PR stunt leads to PR stunt offer
Message to all the haters: The T.O. plan has worked! Well, sort of.
One day after 37-year-old wide receiver Terrell Owens staged a reality-TV style workout for TV cameras --but no NFL scouts -- in hopes of drumming up potential offers from interested teams, his first contract proposal has arrived . . . from the Arena Football League.

Daily Haze: Sneaky Waiver Wire Adds for Week 8
Slim pickings on the waiver wire this week, despite all of the injuries suffered in Week 8. Could be a good time to use that waiver wire priority on some of these down-the-road players:
Terrell Owens, WR, Free Agent: Mentioned TO yesterday. Owens and his agent have declared him 100 percent healthy. Teams are losing players at the skill positions, so now could be the right time for...
All 32 Teams Pass On T.O. Workout
You might have heard that Terrell Owens, the currently unemployed former 49er, Eagle, Cowboy, Bill and Bengal, held a public workout yesterday, presumably in order to show teams that he had recovered from a reportedly torn ACL. Only trouble is, none of the 32 teams that call the NFL home chose to be there. None.
According to the account in the LA Times today, eight reporters (and...

He participated in some drills and caught passes Tuesday in the workout that was televised...
Owens: Ochocinco's gonna hear it if he scores first
Although he doesn't have a team, Terrell Owens already plans on getting back in the end zone.
Now, should he do so before former teammate Chad Ochocinco, well ...
"Chad better watch out because if I get back on the field and start scoring touchdowns before he does, he's gonna hear it," Owens joked on NFL.com.
Owens is trying to land a job for the remainder of...
T.O. Wins the Book of World Records Honor for “Loneliest Workout Ever”
Posted without comment
When I heard that former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens was holding a workout for teams to come and view his newly healed knee, my first thought was “oh okay…wait…that’s not how that works.” See, if a team is even mildy interested in you, they will invite YOU to THEIR facility to workout in drills THEY would like to see YOU do.
For whatever reason...
