According to Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com, free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has been working out with Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer, and free agent quarterback Kyle Boller in San Diego.
Looks like Owens is hoping that Brees and Palmer will put in a good word with the Saints and Raiders, in order to give him some kind of shot at playing in the NFL this year.

Terrell Owens and Drew Brees were spotted working out together in San Diego. Joining them was Carson Palmer, among others.

The ruling by arbitrator Stephen Burbank means that if Brees and the Saints cannot reach a multi-year deal before the July 16 deadline and Brees plays out the final year of his contract, New Orleans cannot use the franchise tag on him beyond 2013. And the franchise...
According to ESPN’s John Clayton, the New Orleans Saints and quarterback Drew Brees are still about $1 million apart from agreeing on a new contract.
“They’re really about a million dollars apart as far as trying to get a deal done,” said Clayton.
If both sides are so close to getting a deal done, the only reason I can think that they haven’t finalized anything...
