Two of Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin's three catches went for touchdowns Sunday against Washington.Fantasy Spin:Boldin had 78 yards in the game. The veteran has caught three touchdowns in the last two games after going 10 games without one. He's quietly on pace for his first 1,000-yard campaign since 2009-10.
Quite a newsworthy day for the Ravens. Earlier I wrote about Cam Cameron being fired by the team with Jim Caldwell being elevated to offensive coordinator for the rest of the season.
Some more notes to start the week.
* The Giants-Ravens game that will take place next Sunday will now be a 4:25 p.m. start, according to reports.
* Arthur Jones and Pernell McPhee, both injured in Sunday’s...
After years of being under fire, the Ravens have relieved offensive Cam Cameron of his duties. This seems to have been building for years.
To take Cameron’s place on the staff, the Ravens have elevated quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell to offensive coordinator. Caldwell was brought on this past offseason after a stint as Colts head coach.
Of the coaching move, John Harbaugh had this...
Usually a team fires its offensive coordinator when it is mired in the depths of a losing season. The Ravens are 9-4 with a 2-game lead in their division race. What caused the panic that resulted in the firing of OC Cam Cameron, who's been with the Ravens since 2008 and has been a part of 5 playoff season drives since then ?

The Ravens love playing tight games. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice powered the Ravens to a 28-20 lead in the fourth quarter. Rice scored the Ravens first touchdown since the first half.
However, the defense faltered again.
With Robert Griffin III off the field due to injury, rookie Kirk Cousins came in and hit Pierre Garcon with a touchdown pass. Cousins scrambled for the two-point conversion...
The Ravens’ offense put together a nice drive on their first possession of the second quarter.
Aided by a couple penalties by the Washington defense, the Ravens’ offense moved down the field.
The drive commenced with a Joe Flacco touchdown to Anquan Boldin, a 31-yard strike, for a tie ball game. It’s 14-14 in the second quarter.
The Baltimore Ravens lost to the red-hot Redskins and rookie sensation Robert Griffin III after failing to protect a late game lead against Washington's other rookie sensation, Kirk Cousins. So, what do they do? Fire offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, of course.
Cameron has been under fire for years for unimaginative offenses and under-using RB Ray Rice. The Ravens...
With another playoff appearance on the horizon, the Baltimore Ravens went into Landover, MD to face the Washington Redskins in the Battle of the Beltway. Coming off their first four-game win streak since 2008, the Redskins were becoming a force in the NFC east. Two rookies, Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris, had led the Redskins to a respectable 6-6, even with a tattered defense...
One of the marquee games from the early batch of games features the battle of Maryland, when the (9-3) Baltimore Ravens travel down the interstate to take on RG3 and the (6-6) Washington Redskins. The Ravens are coming off an embarrassing loss at home against Charlie Batch and the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Redskins made their presence known under the Monday night lights getting...

At the half, the Ravens were winning 21-14. A Joe Flacco fumble gifted the Redskins a Kai Forbath field goal. That made the game 21-17 Ravens.
On the ensuing drive, the Ravens were driving then Flacco threw an interception. The ball was tipped by Barry Cofield and Flacco was under duress.
Flacco has two turnovers this afternoon, but the Ravens still lead 21-17 in the third quarter.
