Terrell Thomas re-injures his ACL

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas suffered another ACL injury. “Terrell re-injured his ACL. At this point he will most likely undergo an arthroscopic procedure to determine the extent of the injury to the ACL. However, no decision has been made at this point. Terrell is going to consult with Dr. (Arthur) Ting, who performed an allograft reconstruction of the ACL in Septemeber,” said Giants trainer Ronnie Barnes, per the Daily News. This would be Thomas’ his third ACL tear.  He suffered one at USC and one last season.  This season would be the third.  It’s almost impossible for a player to come back from a third ACL injury.  His career could be over.
