It looks like both the New York Giants and cornerback Terrell Thomas will avoid a major setback now that they know he won’t need surgery on his injured knee.

During Monday’s press conference, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said that cornerback Terrell Thomas will come back to training camp and rehab his knee.  It looks like there’s no tear in his ACL, which is great news.

Coughlin indicated that there’s no timetable for Thomas’ return, the “whole idea is to find out” if rehab will help.

It’s great news that Thomas will avoid surgery, but now they have to hope the rehab helps and he can contribute this season.
