It has been the hottest football debate in Oakland, who should start Sunday Terrelle Pryor or Matt Leinart. Dennis Allen announced Friday after a week long evaluation the Pryor will be the starter.
“I’ve decided to go with Terrelle Pryor as our quarterback,’’ Allen said Friday following practice. “He’ll play in the game and we’ll see how the game goes.
He’s the starter, and we’re going to go into it as we would any other game,’’ according to Jerry McDonald of contracostatimes.com.
Pryor now will get a chance to show what he can do and if the Raiders should have quarterback as their top priority in the off-season.
“I wanted to see how each player responded,’’ Allen said. “I thought Terrelle responded well. I think he gives us a unique element of athleticism at the quarterback position and I think he deserves to get an opportunity to get out there and see what he can do.

Well, let’s face it. If you take the time to read a fan site like this one, you obviously know the State of the AFC West. Outside of Denver, it’s in shambles. Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will get the start this Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. The former Ohio State product has only played eight pro snaps in his two year pro career to this point. He will face a Chargers defense that ranks 18th against the pass and fourth against the run this season.
This is a great move for the Oakland organization. It makes sense...

Raiders coach Dennis Allen announced that Terrelle Pryor will start at quarterback Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
