Bills Herd:
The pass defense has done a somewhat respectable job holding pro bowl caliber quarterbacks to okay yardage days. They have given up too many touchdowns but that hasn’t been the big thorn in the side of the Bills this year.
The Bills have utterly failed to take control of the clock with the strongest aspect of their team, the running backs. Lynch has looked good but hasn’t really gotten the chance to dominate a game. First round pick CJ Spiller has had limited opportunities in the Prevent Offense(Ya, I know what I said) to take advantage of his big play ability. Meanwhile, opponents have been allowed to do precisely what the Bills have to do in order to win games. The debacle against the Jets featured two New York running backs who rushed for over 100 yards. The Jets more than doubled the Bills time of possession on Sunday. Both Jets backs actually rushed for more yards than the Bills aggregate passing yardage!
