NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fueled by six forced turnovers, the Houston Texans clinched their second straight playoff berth with a 24-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Texans (11-1) thwarted the Titans' comeback to win their sixth straight. Houston harassed the Titans (4-8) and quarterback Jake Locker all game. An interception by Darryl Sharpton with 1:57 left preserved the win and was the fifth turnover by Locker. He threw three interceptions, lost two fumbles and was sacked six times. Houston wasted little time on the opening drive, marching 80 yards in six plays in less than three minutes. Five of the plays were passes, including Matt Schaub's 54-yard touchdown to Lestar Jean. Titans safety Michael Griffin tried to jump the route and break up the pass but missed, allowing Jean to race down the sideline and dive into the end zone. Tennessee answered with a 37-yard field goal by Rob Bironas. But that is as close as the Titans would get. With 19 second...

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is the best defensive lineman in the AFC in only his second year in the league in 2012. In only 11 weeks of action, Watt has recorded 14.5 sacks and is 1st in total sacks in the AFC. That is an enormous accomplishment for any defensive player, but for a defensive end in the 3-4 defense, that type of impact is amazing. 3-4 defensive ends...
HOUSTON Everybody has boyhood heroes. Some of us get to meet them. Not many get to surpass them.
That's what happened to Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt on Sunday. He raised his season totals to 15 sacks and 15 pass breakups, topping the 1991 feat of the legendary Reggie White, whose poster hung on the bedroom wall of a young Watt.

The Headline: Texans keep rolling with another win
Houston fans can complain all they want about their team getting no national respect despite being tied for the best record in the NFL. As a counter point I offer them this scenario, would you rather be an under the radar top seed, or get all of the national attention because you are fighting...
