The Houston Texans took one of the top cornerbacks off the market Thursday, agreeing to a multiyear year deal with Johnathan Joseph.
Joseph, who spent the past five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, was considered to be the second-best cornerback available on the market behind Nnamdi Asomugha.
The Texans were in need up upgrading their secondary after finishing 30th in total defense and dead last against the pass last season.
Joseph had 42 tackles and three interceptions for the Bengals last year.
