The Houston Texans beat the San Diego Chargers Monday night 23-17 but have likely lost middle linebacker Brian Cushing for the season.Cushing appears to have a torn ACL, suffered when New York Jets guard Matt Slauson hit him in the back of the left knee.“They tell me he got caught on a play and his foot might’ve gotten stuck in the turf," said Gary Kubiak after the game. "Obviously, that’s crisis No. 1. We’ll take him home and get it looked at. Obviously, we’re very concerned. Let’s sit here and hope for the best.’’The Texans are 5-0 for the first-time-ever but will have to survive without their best defensive player.  Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips will now turn to Tim Dobbins and Bradie James.“We played most of the game tonight without him. The guys who went in played well. If he’s out we’ll have to play with what we have.’’
