NFL Trade Rumors:
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports released a video on Monday that shows Texans DE Antonio Smith ripping off the helmet off Dolphins G Richie Incognito and swinging it at his face.
According to Glazer, Smith could face a “severe” penalty and possibly a multi-game suspension for his actions.
“I think it’ll be more than a fine,” stated Glazer. “I think we’re looking at a suspension.“
Glazer adds that the NFL is aware of the video and is in the process of reviewing the case.
It’s hard to say for certain that Smith made contact with Incognito’s head, but it appears to be that he did. Either way, it’s more than enough for the league to act. We’ll have more as the news is available.
