Houston Texans: 5 things to look forward to in 2013

The Super Bowl is upon us, and like me many Texans fans believed at the start of the season that our Houston Texans had a great chance at being here in this game. Now that they’re not and we are on the outside looking in, it’s a good time to look at what we have to look forward too next season. DE JJ Watt was elected the NFL Defensive Player of the Year yesterday, the first...

Early Look at the 2013 Texans Roster

The off-season is officially underway with the Super Bowl in the books and the 2013 NFL season starting before we know it.  We decided to look at the Houston Texans and what their current roster looks like, including the players under contract and current free agents. J.J. Watt, Of The Houston Texans, The AP Defensive Player of the Year & Why Not?

J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans collected the AP’s defensive player of the year award. Why not? Watt set the bar high, his play for the Texans gives opposing teams something to worry about. Even in the Pro Bowl Watt left it all out on the filed. Watt stood there at the Pro Bowl with a hand full of blood telling the NFL’s commissionaire, “look Commish, we play hard”. Anyone...

Arian Foster says he will not have a heart procedure

Looks like someone jumped the gun in their report that Arian Foster will 'likely' undergo a heart procedure to fix an irregular heart beat that existed since he was a child. That person, Alex Flanagan of the NFL Network, reported the news on Thursday, and everyone ran with it, including us. “Thank you for all the concern,” Foster, flanked by GM Rick Smith, said during...

Young love runs deep for Texans' J.J. Watt

For most of the last year, 6-year-old Breanna Bartay has been drawing pictures of a football player and writing "I love PP" on them. Breanna's 9s look like Ps, and her favorite player is No. 99 for the Houston Texans, J.J. Watt. And, sure, a lot of people love "PP" around Houston, but for Breanna it wasn't so much that she loved the way Watt played ...
