We reported earlier today that Texans safety Ed Reed will likely miss the start of training camp after undergoing offseason hip surgery. Houston head coach Gary Kubiak told Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com that they didn’t expect Reed to have to undergo surgery for his hip when they signed him this offseason.
