Now that the Texans' offensive line is beginning to receive the credit it's due, can the club keep it intact for next season? C Chris Myers and ORG Mike Brisiel are both unrestricted free agents whom Houston would like to re-sign, but neither is likely to receive a huge deal because the Texans' main focus is on locking up OLB Mario Williams and RB Arian Foster long term. Behind OLT Duane Brown, Myers was the best performer on the line last season. The Texans love Brisiel's toughness and mean streak; his quick recovery last season from a broken fibula is a testament to that. Perhaps working in the Texans' favor for bringing them back is the perception around the league that players can thrive in Houston's zone-blocking system; it requires smarts and athleticism rather than size and strength.
