Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub had a forgettable day against the Seattle Seahawks and this hit by Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril had to hurt. Avril absolutely leveled Schaub who had nowhere to go but straight into Avril’s waiting arms.
BEST OF MAXIM
After giving the Seattle Seahawks hope on Sunday, a handful of Texans fans destroyed a Matt Schaub jersey with fire. Well I guess Matt Schaub could sense the hatred. Schaub deleted his twitter account per Nick Wright of 610 sportsradio in Houston. Nick Wright of 610 SportsRadio in Houston passes along the word that he’s noticed Schaub’s […]
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Houston Texans have the ability to get out from underneath the five-year, $66.15 million contract they signed QB Matt Schaub to last season.
Florio’s source informed him that Houston has already paid Schaub $22 million in 2012 and his cap hit becomes “somewhat manageable after the 2013 season.“
The Texans could designate...
I think burning a jersey is stupid on all levels, I don’t even care if your QB is Blaine Gabbert, but fan is short for fanatic.
3 straight games with a pick 6 & Texans fans respond RT @javi5705: @LanceZierlein this is happening a at tailgate . pic.twitter.com/cCKGVLYPAw

@BlkSportsOnline look how ugly it's getting...
In what has become a universal symbol for disgust with a player, Houston fans have now begun to burn the jersey of their starting quarterback, Matt Schaub.
Thanks to our friends at BlackSportsOnline for this one, and with it I can’t help but laugh.
Forget that Schaub has thrown a pick-six in 3 games, in terms of consistency at the QB level Matt Schaub has done little to deserve...
Matt Schaub went YOLO pass late in the game and Richard Sherman took it to the house. The announcer hit a classic “he’s got followers and not just on twitter!”
Houston Texans fans are understandably upset at Matt Schaub.
The quarterback, whose arrival in Houston in 2007 appeared to be the piece the Texans needed to get themselves over the hump, is again failing to fulfill expectations with another middling season. The Texans are 2-2, and Schaub has thrown eight touchdowns against six interceptions, none more egregious than the pick that...
Burning jerseys sometimes have that effect of the athlete’s ego.
Probably for the best if you know the comments going to bother you.
Ouch, @Texans QB Matt Schaub deleted his twitter account. @MSchaub8

Colin Kaepernick responded to his critics in an interesting way last week, favoriting critical tweets as motivation. Matt Schaub is apparently taking a very differant approach to the Twitticism.
Schaub’s Twitter account has mysteriously, and maybe conveniently, vanished in recent days, as Nick Wright of 610 SportsRadio in Houston first noted. The Texan’s quarterback’s @MSchaub8...
I’m sorry Texans fans, but you cannot let a 20-3 lead going into the third quarter. Matt Schaub is a veteran quarterback and he made a stupid rookie mistake that cost him the game yesterday. When getting rushed late in the game Schaub elects to throw a floater in the air to the flats. The […]
If parking lot incidents in two different cities on Sunday are any indication, stupid behavior does not discriminate between NFL fan bases. Late Sunday, photos and video surfaced of Houston Texans fans burning a Matt Schaub jersey in the Reliant Stadium parking lot. In that incident, at least nobody was harmed. The same can’t be said for this fight outside Qualcomm Stadium in San...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By BARRY WILNER AP Pro Football Writer NFL quarterbacks can be broken into three groups: elite, good and ''can we find somebody else?''
That last group is growing considering what has gone on with the Buccaneers, Browns, Raiders and Jets already. Most troublesome, however, are the recent meltdowns by some quality passers who seem to take huge...
The Seattle Seahawks are about to hit the road for a 2 game road trip starting off in Houston. The Seahawks will be playing the Texans for the third time in team history with the series even at 1-1. This week the Hawks will look to stop not only JJ Watt in order to keep the offense moving, but they must also shut down Andre Johnson.
Let’s go back in time, shall we...
