Houston RB Arian Foster has 1,313 yards and 14 touchdowns on the year with two games remaining, making this his third straight season of rushing for over 1,000 yards. Foster understands he couldn’t have been as productive as he is without the help of his offensive line, so this past Wednesday he gifted each member of the Texans O-line with their very own Segway personal transportation device, as his way of saying thanks. Foster is a big fan of the Segway, and has been riding his own around the Texans facilities all year long.  Apparently the guys on the O-line had been razzing Foster about how much he uses his Segway to get from Point A to Point B instead of the old fashioned way most normal people get from place to place—their feet—so to silence his burly critics he bought them all their own so they could understand why he’s so fond of personal mobile transportation. Said Foster… “I can’t do anything without them,” Foster said of Houston’s linemen. “It was just my way of giving back to the big fellas.” “I feel like all of them big hogs up front can enjoy the joy that I get from riding my Segway,” Foster said, according to the Houston Chronicle. “Guys like Chris Myers and (Duane) Brown and Wade Smith, they’re always getting on me about riding my Segway. ‘You can’t walk? You’re too good to walk?’ “I was like, ‘No, man. I would just rather ride wheels.’ I saw a little jealousy in their eyes when they were talking about me, so I figured I’d get all the linemen a gift.” A great gift to be sure, but unfortunately the Segway has a weight limit of 260-pounds, which is exceeded by every member of the Texans O-line.  You have to figure a smart guy like Foster would have been privy to this information and had the Segways modified for his recipients ample frames, no?
