The Houston Texans released former first-round defensive tackle Amobi Okoye on Saturday.
Okoye was just 19 when he was selected with the 10th overall pick of the 2007 draft. He was the youngest player ever taken in the first round.
Last season, Okoye recorded 44 tackles and three sacks in 16 games.
Okoye, 24, collected 138 tackles and 11 sacks in his career with the Texans.
