According to Pro Football Weekly the Texans are expected to make retaining FS Glover Quin a priority this offseason. Houston is entering the free agency period with at least five starters set to become unrestricted free agents. He is considered by many as smart, with good leadership skills and the ability to defend both the run and pass. This year he lead all Texans players with 85 tackles this and finished behind only CB Kareem Jackson in interceptions. Houston Texans 2013 Needs

A lot of people will point to the Texans as a classic case of peaking too early. After an 11-1 start, they finished 1-3 and dropped all the way down the 3rd seed. After a less than impressive win over the Bengals in the post-season, they lost convincingly in New England to the Patriots. However, their problems started well before the final 4 weeks of the regular season and the post...

2012 NFL Season Report Card: Houston Texans

When the Houston Texans were sitting at 11-1 and looking ready to smash every expectation set for them before the season, I pictured that this season review would end up a lot differently than it will now. With the way the last six weeks of the 2012 campaign went, it was like a tale of two teams. But in being the same roster and the same team, Houston fizzled the last quarter of...

Over the past two seasons teams have found top defensive ends in the Draft. In 2011, the Houston Texans drafted J.J. Watt, and has not been disappointed with his play. In 2012 Watt had 81 tackles, four forced fumbles and 20.5 sacks. Should the Patriots Fear Suggs?

All I heard leading up to both games verses the Houston Texans was how the Patriots had better fear JJ Watt and his ability to get after the QB and also to swat the ball down. That’s the main reason I’m so happy the Patriots pummeled the Texans so I didn’t have to hear such a fluff story again because the people at ESPN have nothing else to say. Leading up to this game the...
