Found December 04, 2012 on NFL Trade Rumors:
John McClain reports that free agent CB Stanford Routt will finish working out for the Texans on Tuesday and will then met with Steelers later in the week. Both teams could really use some additional help at cornerback now that Johnathan Joseph has missed a few games and Ike Taylor is expected to be out somewhere between 3-6 weeks. Routt was cut by the Chiefs, but hasn’t found a new team since then. He was struggling to be an effective player for the Chiefs, so it’s hard to say what these teams would be getting if they were to sign him at this point in his career.

Steelers To Work Out Free Agent CB Stanford Routt

Texans WR Andre Johnson dropped $19,000 on a Toys “R” Us shopping spree for a dozen kids

Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson is one of the NFL’s preeminent good guys, and he does a lot of fine work through his charity, the Andre Johnson Charitable Foundation.  One of the cooler things he does this time of year is his annual Toys “R” Us shopping spree, where he takes a bunch of at-risk kids selected from Houston’s Child Protective Services and lets them run...

Steelers’ “Young Money Crew” Needs a Credit Check

I find it almost humorous how quickly articles can change in my mind through the course of a Pittsburgh Steelers’ football game. There were so many things to be critical of as the game wore on yesterday as the Steelers seemed headed for a third straight loss. Despite the fact they won yesterday, I can’t sit here today and wax poetically about everything I saw. In my mind, Mike...

Batch earns Steelers' confidence in win

Pittsburgh could get Ben Roethlisberger back this week for a home game against the San Diego Chargers, but the Steelers have confidence in Charlie Batch if he cannot go because of his shoulder and rib injuries.
