Everything is still in front of us." However, if Indianapolis (9-4) wins Sunday, it would wrap up a playoff spot and put a division crown very much within its grasp. If the Colts win their final three games, including at Kansas City next week ...

Bruce Arians kept Colts afloat during tough times, now aims for playoffs

Interim Indianapolis Colts head coach Bruce Arians can relate to his friend Chuck Pagano. Five years ago, it was Arians who received some bad news from his doctor. He had prostate cancer. He successfully battled it of course, but it really hit home when he received the news from Pagano during the team's bye week. "He had missed Thursday in the office, so I said, '...

The new faces of pain: Aldon Smith vs J.J. Watt

Let's take a look at more deserving candidates that aren't named Peyton Manning or an quarterback. J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans: It took Watt only eleven games to get to 14.5 sacks, totaling him to 20 sacks in just under two years of being in the NFL. That is very, very impressive for any defensive player. What is even more impressive is he has that many sacks in a league...

Bruce Arians: Vick Ballard a “poor man’s Edgerrin James

Colts running back Vick Ballard has carried the ball 146 times for 562 yards and one touchdown this season (Credit: AP Photo) After selecting Vick Ballard out of Mississippi State with their fifth round pick this April, I doubt the Indianapolis Colts expected him to play a pivotal role in the offense. Texans putting loss, letter jackets in the past

HOUSTON -- Ask any high school coach. You play how you look. So when the Houston Texans showed up Monday night in letter jackets, looking like a high school team, well, they got crushed by the Patriots. Five Reasons The Texans Will Choke In Playoffs

After the most successful season in franchise history the Texans came into this season as one of the favorites to win the AFC. And why not?
