Texans Want to Showcase Slaton for a Possible Trade

The Texans would love to get Steve Slaton as many carries as possible in the preseason to showcase him for other teams according to Pro Football Weekly. The club is not likely to cut the former 1,000-yard rusher, but it would entertain trade offers for him. With Arian Foster leading the AFC in rushing last season, and Slaton having fumbling issues over the last two seasons, it would not be a shock to see the Texans ship Slaton out of Houston prior to the season.
