Mark Tauscher played his ass off for the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers for 16 years.   A class act for 16 years.

Never was this huge Tauschy fan, but I am thinking about buying my Chinese made Packer jersey after seeing his ad in the Milwaukee Journal.

I am truly proud to be a fan of the Badgers and the Packers because of dudes like him.    GO PACK, GO BADGERS.

Here’s the amazing run this kid from up north has been on.

And for Tauscher, what a run.  Born a wood tick in Marshfield, Wisconsin.   At Auburndale High, he and his team went to state for basketball.  Side note to you rednecks, he was a member of the FFA (future farmers of America) while there.   And yeah, in mid state Wisco you can still have mascots like the Auburndale Apaches.  It’s a Llama not an Indian reference right?  wink, wink, cough, cough.

He was honorable mention all state and walked on at Wisconsin.  He sat on the bench for two year and then started and blocked for Ron Dayne who ran for the most yards in NCAA history and won a Rose Bowl Title.

In this dream sequence, he was then selected by the Packers in the 7th round.  He played with Favre and Rodgers and of course won a title last year, albeit he was injured.  (Sherod fans take note, Tauscher blew out his legs his rookie year too, so still hope for the Packer rookie.)

He is married and lives in Madison.  Man, someday I would like to share a beer with that cat.   Dreams just don’t come true… except for Tim Tebow and apparently Tauschie.

Here’s the ad:

And some other favorite Tauschie pics:

As far as we report he is the ONLY PERSON EVER to be born in Wisconsin and win the Rose Bowl with the Badgers and Superbowl for the Packers.

For that we bring you our WinninG shirt, go to our store to buy one.  Tauschie, this shirt is for you.
