So apparently Michael Vick organized a Eagles-players practice session a while back and a ton of guys showed up to work out together. Nice idea, I know. Vick was the mastermind behind these practices and that showed a lot of leadership from the starting QB. Not long afterwards, the practices have dwindled down to a QB (not Vick) throwing to a WR. That's it. Mike Kafka and Jeremy Maclin were at the practice field basically playing catch with each other.
"I think it will continue to be like this," Kafka said. "I know [Vick] has a vision, an idea, of what we want to do as this thing progresses. So we'll see what Mike has to say about it."
That's a nice thing for Kafka to say, but the reality is that Vick went back to Virginia to practice alone. That's not much of a leader in my opinion. Donovan McNabb would fly all the receivers to Arizona for an intense week or so of practice and that was in addition to the team-organized practices. Don't thin...
