On Tuesday, Terrell Owens will work out for NFL teams in hopes of soon landing a job offer.  Despite the fact that Owens will turn 38 years old before the end of the 2011 season he has something that Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos badly need.  Most would assume that with the recent departure of Brandon Lloyd, T.O.to the Broncos could make sense in order to help fill the void left at receiver.  After all, last season on a bad Bengals’ team, Owens had 72 receptions, 983 yards, and nine touchdowns and this would be a nice addition to a Broncos offense trying to find its way under Tebow, right?  Well, maybe…but there’s more. What T.O. offers the Broncos has less to do with talents as a football player and more to do with his unquenchable thirst for the spotlight.  Owens is a self-contained three-ring circus making him the perfect diversion as his often ill advised on the field antics have dominated team headlines in the past.  This would definitely divert negative attention away from Tebow’s mechanics and awkward delivery allowing the Broncos’ QB to focus on what he does best; play the game of football.
