The appreciation of Patriots RB Kevin Faulk

When Kevin Faulk gets to Lucas Oil Stadium today, the 35-year-old will be playing in the fifth Super Bowl of his career. And when it’s all said it done, it might be his last. Though the 13 year veteran might not have the type of impact he once did for the Patriots, there is something to be said for someone who has spent his entire career with one team. With the Patriots, Faulk has done it all – rushed the ball, caught passes, returned kickoffs, returned punts, made tackles and even completed two passes. It should come to no surprise that he’s more than appreciated by his teammates. “There are a few players that I think you can put into Kevin’s category in terms of his contributions, his unselfishness and being a great teammate,” said coach Bill Belichick. “Everybody loves Kevin, as they should.
