Well, it looks like Bears general manager Phil Emery has managed to do what Jerry Angelo couldn't. And that is provide his team with a legitimate threat at wide receiver. Someone who can be viewed as a legitimate threat, and is considered one of the top receivers in the league.
And that man is Brandon Marshall.
The Bears will trade third round draft picks in 2012 and 2013 in exchange for Marshall's services. This looks to be a bit of a steal considering how highly Marshall is rated around the league.
This will of course reunite Brandon Marshall with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. The pair played together at Denver and developed a good relationship both on and off the field.
Marshall is a multi time pro bowler, who has good size as well as excellent strength. He is an agile receiver, not afraid to catch the ball across the middle. He may not be the most explosive in terms of speed, but he has enough to gain some separation.
Getting a top receiver was definitely the Bear...

10) Now that Jay Cutler has a guy like Marshall to throw to, the Bears will be as unstoppable as his Bronco teams9) There is no truth to the rumor that Miami did this just to impress Peyton Manning, unless, of course, it does8) Marshall's departure means that Miami is going to have to force incomplete end zone lobs to someone else7) There's absolutely no red flags in sending...
One major weakness of the Chicago Bears since their 1985 "greatest NFL team ever" season, was the QB play. They got Jay Cutler, and declared "dynasty!" Their second glaring weakness was who would Rex Grossman Jay Cutler be looking to throw too when getting rushed (on every play)? They, now, got Brandon Marshall from the Miami Dolphins for 2 third-rounders...

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler defended Brandon Marshall amid claims the wide receiver punched a woman at a New York nightclub days before heading to Chicago, saying, "I know deep down he's a good guy."
The 24-year-old woman told police that Marshall hit her in the face during a dispute outside the club early Sunday, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The Chicago Bears have committed a crime. There was no way that the Miami Dolphins were going to let their Pro-Bowl wide receiver go, right? Wrong.
To quote Michael Smith, "The Bears just committed highway robbery getting Brandon Marshall for two thirds". When Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler were together, their numbers were amazing and many thought they would be a...
This is the case of a fan taking their love of Michael Jordan just ONE step too far. In all honesty, you have to give it to this barber, he is expressing himself and the work done is as good as anyone can do. If I had any sort of pair I would immediately get Jay Cutler shaved into my head by this artist.
