What is the biggest concern for the Chicago Bears after last night’s game?  Is it the play of Jay Cutler, the ankle of Matt Forte or the lack of protection from the offensive line? When Matt Forte went down, many fantasy football owners were holding their breath.  He is the complete back and dangerous coming out of the backfield.  But an injury to a player of his talent and abilities could cripple any team.  This is why they picked up one of the most prized free agents during the off-season—Bush is a great plan B.  It doesn’t look like Forte will miss significant time here and so this will not be as potentially damaging to the team as the next two thoughts. Jay Cutler had a terrible game.  One week after throwing for over 300 yards and 2 touchdown, he throws a mere 126 yards with 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions.  Can the blame be on Jay alone or should we also look to the receivers who had balls placed almost perfectly throughout the game and yet they did not come up with the catch....

Bears vs Packers Thursday night game recap

The highly anticipated NFC North game pitted the NFL’s longest rival teams head to head. The game started off as a defensive gem as both teams managed keep the other from gaining any significant yardage in the entire first quarter. Green Bay struck first however, with a momentum swinging fake punt returned for a touchdown by Tom Crabtree. The Bears never got going with Cutler...

Jay Cutler curses out his offensive lineman

Photo by Squared B According to joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was seen cursing out one of his offensive linemen during last night’s horrible loss to the Packers. The Bears quarterback was caught by cameras dressing down Webb on the sidelines of Thursday night’s game and even chest-bumping the left tackle after telling him “get your f—...

Matt Forte Leaves with Ankle Injury

Very little has gone right for the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football, including the loss of starting tailback Matt Forte to what appeared to be an ankle injury. Forte suffered the injury when Green Bay safety Charles Woodson rolled up on his ankle while making a tackle. Chicago trainers worked on the injury on the sideline for a few minutes before sending Forte into the locker...

Bears' Matt Forte Injures Ankle in Thursday Night Game

Matt Forte exited the Bear loss against the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter with an apparent ankle injury Thursday night.  Forte was ruled out for the rest of the game and did not return.  The extent of the injury is not yet known. Greg Rosenthal of reports that Forte underwent an X-Ray shortly after the injury, but the results of the X-Ray are not yet known...

Matt Forte down: Fantasy Impact

Matt Forte down: Fantasy Impact Matt Forte went down with a high ankle sprain in his week two contest against the Green Bay Packers and is expected to miss at least a month with the injury. The Bears signed Michael Bush this off-season for exactly this eventuality and he will step right in to the starters job with the newly signed, former Bear Kahlil Bell backing him up. Bush was...

Bears leave Lambeau frustrated

Jay Cutler wasn't happy, and he made sure everybody around him knew about it. Cutler threw four interceptions and was sacked seven times in the Chicago Bears' 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. As frustration mounted, Cutler vented with emphatic gestures throughout the game, saying afterward it was simply a sign of his desire to win....

Jay Cutler Gravely Struggles At Green Bay

Bears QB Jay Cutler had an abysmal night Thursday against Green Bay, throwing for 126 yards and four picks.Fantasy Spin:Only some of the blame can be placed on Cutler, since his offensive line was atrocious, allowing seven sacks. Green Bay hurried Cutler on nearly every drop back and he was only able to hit Brandon Marshall two times for 24 yards.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers: 5 Lessons Learned

“Good luck,” Jay Cutler said earlier this week, when referring to the ability of Green Bay’s defense to cover Chicago’s wide receivers. His buddy, wide receiver Brandon Marshall, also was heard chirping like a bird this week. When the final whistle blew, you felt good for Cutler, yet his Bears had just lost to the NFC North rival Green Bay Packers, 23-10. It was nice to know...

Bears jerseys worse than Jay Cutler’s performance

Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears laid a major turd sandwich last night against the Packers. Since I live in Chicago there is Bears stuff everywhere but because of the relative lack of star power on the team over the last ten years or so the jerseys that you see can be as disappointing as the offensive line. For someone like me who loves bad or expired jerseys this is a great thing...

Packers defense lays down the law

The Green Bay Packers rattled and robbed Jay Cutler and backup tight end Tom Crabtree scored on a fake field goal in the second quarter of a 23-10 victory over the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on Thursday night. The Packers (1-1) intercepted four Cutler passes, including a pair by Tramon Williams. Facing a fierce pass rush all night, Cutler was sacked seven times, including 3...

Packers Use Fake Field Goal to Score Pivotal Touchdown in Win Over Bears (Video)

In a game that featured Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler at quarterback, it was Tim Masthay who threw the first touchdown pass in Thursday night's Packers-Bears game. It was by technicality, of course, as it was Masthay who "connected" with Tom Crabtree for a 27-yard touchdown "pass" near the end of the first half. The Packers used the old fake field goal on fourth...

Bears offense is horrible in loss to the Packers

This wasn't the way the 2012 Chicago Bears offense was to perform, it's not how most everyone envisioned this offense playing, ever again. Instead the Bears was god awful against the Packers from the first snap of the game all the way through.  Cutler was sacked on the first play of the game much like he was the week before.  From there things started to unravel at a...
