Found December 07, 2011 on Rotowire:
The Cardinals have proved me wrong a few times this year, but I still believe they are losers. There is a bigger loser from Arizona that IS a favorite, though: John from the Biggest Loser. The guy has a Tebow-esque work ethic and lost 100 pounds quicker than anyone else in the show's history. Okay, if you don't watch, hop on the bandwagon. Even Tim Tebow is doing it. Overall: 17-8-1 Dallas -4.5 at Arizona: LOSS The Cowboys collapsed against Arizona in a game that was theirs to lose. The biggest mistake wasn't Jason Garrett icing his own kicker. Rather, it was just poor clock management. Brian Burke put together a great post on Advanced NFL Stats to this end. Props to Chris Liss for seeing this coming; the stats just absolutely hate Arizona. New York Jets -3 at Washington: WIN This game took a bizarre twist towards the end with the Jets scoring 21 points in the 4th quarter. The Jets 3rd ranked defense held Washington late and Sexy Rexy did ...

Jason Garrett Iced His Own Kicker....and Got a Parody Video

Yesterday we showed you Cowboy's coach Jason Garrett icing his own kicker and losing the game in overtime.  Today comes a parody video making fun of Garrett to the song "Ice Ice Baby."  I think "Don't Ice Ice Bailey" is a little better.  Being that the Cowboy kicker is Dan Bailey. December Demons Aside, Jason Garrett Isn’t to Blame

Critics love to jump on anything and everything wrong with the Dallas Cowboys. Whether it’s who Tony Romo is currently dating or how many hot dogs Jerry Jones ordered in preparation from the Super Bowl, everything the Cowboys do is put under a ridiculous microscope. Though I’m kidding about that hot dog thing, the Cowboys really are pretty much psycho-analyzed to a point that...

KFSees Week 13: Garrett's Star Is Falling

-How many times does a coach ice the opposing kicker and it doesn’t accomplish anything? Jason Garrett ices his own kicker, after badly mismanaging two fourth quarter timeouts, and ends up losing in overtime to a Cardinal team that’s now 5-7. I almost feel like this was karma rewarding Eagles fans for all that they’ve suffered through this year. -Speaking of the Eagles, what’s...

Jason Garrett Iced His Own Kicker: A Quick Laugh at the Cowboys

Since Eagles fans can’t get any enjoyment from their own team this season, how about a quick laugh at the Dallas Cowboys?  Any time Dallas loses, life is good. Especially the way in which they lost to the Arizona Cardinals. Just before the end of regulation in yesterday’s game, the Cowboys lined up for a would-be game-winning field goal.  The game was tied 13-13 and Cowboys...

Jerry Jones Not Second-Guessing Garrett

Jerry Jones isn’t going to criticize or second-guess head coach Jason Garrett for his clock management or reason-defying decision to call a timeout when he did against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday--at least, not publicly, he isn’t. In his bi-weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Jones made that much clear. “That’s just second-guessing,” Jones said, via...

Second Thought

Jason Garrett has fully evaluated the closing seconds of regulation on Sunday, but is clear that there is little he would change about how he handled the clock in that situation.

Putting the Defense’s Performance Against Arizona in Perspective

After the Dallas Cowboys suffered that crazy loss in the desert, the anger of the Cowboy Nation has shifted: it started with Jason Garrett, but now it seems to be directed toward the defense.  The defense certainly had a major breakdown in overtime, and they must be held accountable for that.  That being said, this angry criticism filled with invectives like “The defense sucks”...

Jason Garrett: Surrounded by Success or Destined for Failure

Watching the final minute of the Dallas Cowboys / Arizona Cardinals game Sunday left many Cowboy fans around the country scratching their heads and staring at their big screen tv’s in disbelief.  With the game tied at 13 – 13, AGAIN, and it was clear, AGAIN, who would BAILey them out for another win.  With seven seconds on the clock, “Mr. Automatic” steps back and kicks...

Welcome in out of the cold and to another edition of the NFL awards, week 13 edition. This week, the Packers keep winning, Jason Garrett ices a kicker...HIS OWN kicker, and Brett Favre ruins it for everybody. On with the show... The "if we make it through December" award goes to the Dallas Cowboys It's been this way for years. The Cowboys look like they might be ready...

Cowboys Expect Many Happy Returns

It takes some time to get through the baffling game management of Jason Garrett in the final moments of the fourth quarter against the Cowboys, but doing so makes you realize that it wasn't the only reason why the Cardinals wound up winning the game. There was a defense that couldn't get off the field in big spots and had problems tackling right up until the very last play...
