Why not? Why not the team that has been the laughing stock of the NFL since its inception? The Cardinals have been just about as relevant as soccer in this country. The biggest storyline has been their drunken QB chilling with coeds in a hot tub. But, it just feels like it's their time. This has been one of the strangest NFL seasons in recent memory. Don't believe me? Here's a short list of just some the wacky highlights from this season.

-There was a tie
-Two rookie QB's took their respective teams to the playoffs
-Matt Cassel shocked an entire fan base
-Coach Singletary dropped his pants
-The San Diego Chargers made the playoffs with an 8-8 record
-New England didn't make it with an 11-8 record
-Pacman Jones...enough said
-The Miami Dolphins reached the playoffs one year after going 1-15
-Brett Favre threw 76 interceptions...that number could be exaggerated
-Kerry Collins and Gus Ferrotte were relevant again
-The Oakland Raiders fired a coach...well, that's not exactly strange
-The Detroit Lions failed to win a game
-Weather played major factors in numerous games
-Super Bowl Favorite Dallas failed to make the playoffs
-Plex shot himself
-A plethora of rookie runingbacks shined
-And...the Cardinals are in the Conference Championship
Looking back at 2008, how can you NOT say that the only way for this season to end is for Kurt Warner to be holding up that Lombardi trophy one more time. Roll Cards baby!
