Football Extra Points:
The Cowboys get the headlines, but not the wins. I expected more out of them this season and I'm actually surprised at how poorly they're playing. There is still time to get things straight, can then come through?
Here's a look at their remaining schedule, predictions and their division.
Giants - The Giants are playing great football and the Cowboys are up and down but, the Cowboys are at home and it's a division game. I'll give this one to Dallas but not by much.
@ Atlanta - The Falcons are rolling on both sides of the ball and I don't see the Cowboys traveling to Atlanta and winning this game.
@ Philadelphia - The Eagles have talent on offense but are struggling to put things together. We'll see what their new defense looks like but I have to give this one to the Eagles at home.
Cleveland - The Browns are a mess and no way Dallas loses here.
Washington - RG3 is the most exciting player since, well Cam Newton. But, the Redskins...
BEST OF MAXIM
IRVING Aside from a 29-point outburst in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Cowboys have struggled to score points. On Sunday, they'll face a New York Giants team that has scored at least 30 points on three separate occasions and averages 29.3 points per game.
So why haven't the Cowboys been able to hit the 30-point mark? They met or exceeded that total five times last...
TweetVideo of Jason Pierre-Paul a.k.a. JPP's interception of Tony Romo which he takes in for a TD, a pick 6.
Great touchdown by JPP, it gave the Giants a 23-0 lead. New York should be up 35-0 at the very least but the offense is not scoring TD's in the red zone just field goals.
Tony Romo has thrown 3 interceptions so far in this game week 8. Here is the video
TweetThis is the way Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo warms up on game day against the New York Giants.
Just poking a little fun at Tony but the truth is that Romo takes a beating every time he plays the New York Giants. Jason Witten is a huge security blanket for him both as a receiver but also as an additional blocker. He will need it week 8 of this 2012 season. The GMEN are looking...
A long, shrill cry of “DERP” before unleashing a flurry of turnovers within the span of 17 minutes. It’s a mystery how the race of Romos was able to wipe itself out. Except for one, who lives on to spread wide the noble ways of his mistake-prone people.

Miles Austin caught a touchdown in the Madden simulation of Sunday’s game, but Dallas still fell to the Giants.
There should not be any question that Jerry Jones is a Sean Lee fan. Jerry was not willing to consider this team as anything less than a Super Bowl contender until the Cowboys lost Lee for the season. Jerry now says the team is “going to have to adjust for him” and...
IRVING Walking through the halls of the Cowboys' Valley Ranch practice facility there's always a realistic chance that you'll run into Jerry Jones. And the Cowboys owner and general manager is usually open to stopping and chatting for a few minutes, as he did on Wednesday.
While the news of the day was the season-ending injury suffered by inside linebacker Sean Lee...
One quarterback enters the FOX America's Game of the Week at the top of his game.
The other is a lightning rod for criticism from those who believe he will never be good enough to win a Super Bowl.
Talk about your role reversals.
When the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys played in Week 10 of the 2007 season, Tony Romo was the passer riding high in the saddle. He skewered...
The Dallas Cowboys almost executed victory down 23 points to the Giants on Sunday. With six seconds left, Romo found Dez Bryant in the back of the end zone. Unfortunately Bryant couldn’t keep his entire body in bounds as his hand landed out. Right call by the refs.
Weekly Salary Cap Fantasy Football leagues have been rapidly gaining in popularity over the last few years and it’s easy to spot their allure. Weekly leagues offer a fresh start each week, which is often appealing to fantasy owners who have become disenchanted with their traditional league team. Like their traditional counterparts, successful salary cap teams are built by finding...
ARLINGTON, Texas The Cowboys were down 23-0 and rallied to score 24 unanswered. But it was not enough, losing to the New York Giants 29-24.
Here are my five thoughts.
1. It's amazing how the Cowboys can toy with their fan base. One minute they look like the worst team in the league and the next minute they make you think they're a playoff contender. While Sunday's...
Jason Witten was unable to pull in a reception from Tony Romo with just over one minute left in the Giants and Cowboys Sunday afternoon match-up on FOX, and in the process he took out a FOX ‘sound technician.’ Witten just missed grabbing the pass from Romo, but his momentum carried him out of bounds and directly into a sound technician on the sidelines. The sound guy was...
This weekend the NFL wraps up its war on breast cancer with a final barrage of pink shoes, pink towels, pink hats, pink gloves and now even pink penalty flags.
They are killing the disease with public relations.
I guess the technical phrase for what the NFL is doing is raising awareness. One question: Are there people unaware of how insidious the disease is and the absolute necessity...
The Cowboys committed six turnovers that led to 23 points for the Giants. Still, the game came down to the final seconds. Dez Bryant caught what appeared to be a game winning touchdown on a hail mary but it was called back after replays showed Bryant’s hand touched out of bounds.
Stevie Brown picked off two passes and recovered a fumble for the New York Giants. It was three of...
