The Denver Broncos host the Oakland Raiders this Monday night, in a Division rivalry that goes back to the early sixties, with no love lost between these two teams.
This season we have a new coach in John Fox, many new players, and John Elway at the helm of the team. In preseason they looked much improved over last season but preseason is a poor barometer on how a team will actually play during the regular season. To complicate things even more, this preseason was more like training camp with the lockout robbing most of the year. That bodes poorly for Denver as with so many changes in the off season, players and coaches have barely had time to learn each other’s names much less form a season long strategy for the regular season.
On the defense Denver has Elvis Dumervil back and healthy and with the addition of Von Miller, the defense should be improved over the simply awful one they fielded last year. The center of the Defensive line is still suspect and I doubt they will be able to...
