The Eagles have a new coach in Chip Kelly and the Redskins are returning RG3 for the season opener.  MNF doesn't get much better than this in week 1. After postings a record of 164-92 last season, I'm ready to breakthrough to 70% this season. We've started off on the right foot by getting the Broncos game right. Here's a look at Week 1. Vikings @ Lions - Detroit wins.  This game will give fans for both teams a great picture for their season.  Can the Lions defense stop AP?  Will AP have a great start on 2,500 yards? Seahawks @ Panthers - Seattle goes on the road and starts their run at the playoffs with a win.  Cam Newton needs to prove that he can lead his team to compete against the NFL elite. Patriots @ Bills - EJ Manual makes his debut against the greatest coach in NFL history.  I don't think this is going to go well in Buffalo.  Pats win. Bengals @ Bears - The Bengals want to prove they are legitimate.  Guess what, you get your cha...

Footage surfaces of Riley Cooper-Cary Williams dustup (video)

Things got a little heated during Philadelphia Eagles practice on Thursday when wide receiver Riley Cooper mixed it up with cornerback Cary Williams. Cooper, of course, had himself a real rough preseason and training camp after footage emerged of him using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert (a story tastefully and subtly chronicled […]The post Footage surfaces of Riley Cooper...

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins preview

For the Washington Redskins, the distraction of Robert Griffin’s health is no longer a distraction. This week head coach Mike Shanahan said unless a “crazy setback” were to happen, the reining offensive rookie of the year is ready to go. He better be, because their Monday night opener against the Philadelphia Eagles is big. Due to the Redskins success last season, their schedule...

Kyle Shanahan: Pat White’s situation will be evaluated ‘week-by-week’

The Washington Redskins pulled a surprise move last week when they awarded former West Virginia star Pat White a spot on their initial 53-man roster which meant the team will carry four quarterbacks. For White a second-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2009 the roster spot represented a big step in the right direction as he continues his quest to resurrect his career after being...

Here’s video of the fight between Riley Cooper and Cary Williams

Earlier we told you about that Riley Cooper and Cary Williams got into a scuffle on Thursday. And there’s video of the scuffle. A few things the video shows: Cary Williams was MAD.  Riley Cooper seemed to stop mid fight as if he wanted no parts of a fight with Williams Williams clearly wanted all parts of Cooper. Maybe there’s more to this than just a normal practice fight...

Michael Vick on Riley Cooper-Cary Williams fight: ‘These young dudes don’t respect me’

When Riley Cooper and Cary Williams got into a fight at Philadelphia Eagles practice on Thursday, Michael Vick stepped in and tried to prevent the situation from escalating. As the video we posted earlier shows, Cooper walked away and looked like he wanted nothing to do with the scrum. Williams, however, seemed furious. Cooper insisted […]

Michael Vick Says If Cary Williams Is ‘Hot-Headed,’ it Will Hurt Eagles

Cary Williams was brought to Philadelphia to bring Super Bowl experience and quality play at the cornerback position. So far Williams has been anything but an experienced veteran for the Eagles.  On the heels of his fight with Riley Cooper on Thursday, the question now being asked, is whether or not Williams is a liability for the Eagles. Michael Vick, who is the teams captain,...

Eagles CB Cary Williams & wr Riley Cooper get into a scuffle at practice

Things can get heated between teammates during a typical NFL practice. But when Eagles cornerback Cary Williams and receiver Riley Cooper got into at practice on Thursday, it took two unlikely figures, receiver DeSean Jackson and QB Mike Vick to step in and get Williams back in line.   Williams was covering the receiver during one-on-one drills. After the play, they stood toe...
