The Eagles WILL Make the Playoffs!

I've decided to not necessarily go out on a limb but put myself out there and predict that the Eagles will for sure make the playoffs! That's right, instead of whining like a spoiled brat, bashing & ripping "our" (those TRUE Eagles fans) teams players, blaming a SINGLE individual on this team, crying like an incessant spoiled rotten brat and giving up hope on a season that's sitting at 5-4 with a VERY good possibility of being 6-4 after this Sunday, I'm going to stay on the positive note with my blog this week. As far as I'm concerned there is no reason for a true loyal fan of a team that's .500, to go spouting off like an incessant pathetic blowhard & go creating blogs of embarrassment. Fact is, no! this team hasnt played its best football, but neither did the Giants last year either until close to the season's end. Matter of fact the Giants struggled & stumbled at times throughout the entire season last year but still managed to maintain a semblance of a playoff team; they never gave up hope despite many of their fans ripping Eli Manning & Co. I remember the season before where the Eagles lost McNabb for the season & limped to 4-6 but then reeled of the next six to finish at 10-6 and win the NFC East and made it as a wildcard in the playoffs. I threw in the towel myself that season after the Colts blew us out in embarrassing fashion. Did it look like then the Eagles would rebound? I remember the Colts getting criticized for not being able to stop da run all season that year and there were games where they got embarrassed being run roughshod over by teams (especially Jacksonville) but yet what happened come playoff time? Boy no one figured the Colts to be so strong defensively did they? My point here is, you can sit by writing blogs, pointing blame at McNabb like the fool you are, cry, moan, scream, yell & bitch like a spoiled rotten sissy blowhard LOSER! Or you can sit back, watch the games, watch the season unfold and support your team like you KNOW you SHOULD! Watch them make the playoffs (like I KNOW they will) and possibly upset/surprise some teams by stepping up making plays & playing better football like we always knew they could! Sometimes it takes a tough run through the regular season for some teams to get it right down the stretch ppl! I still say despite Sunday's loss the Eagles will be fine, I have faith in that & I have faith it will happen. The Bengals or not, a win against any team in the NFL on Sunday is a win; for some wins it helps to make for much more progress & improvement for the entire team. Some things can be improved upon during each game; despite everything that has transpired I support the team, Andy Reid included; I no longer have much faith in his coaching but the bottom line is he IS the coach and will remain that to the season's end and so be it! Same way with the rest of the team, I support them all. Finally! Stop the pathetic whining about "put Kolb in!" Forget it! It aint gonna happen so get over it! McNabb is the starter and will remain the starter! So get over your pitiful fantasy with Kolb already! There's 7 more games to go and this team WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!!!! Go Birds!
