Found June 26, 2010 on Pro Sports Blogging:
The Edmonton Eskimos have cut their roster down to 46 men for the upcoming 2010 CFL season. Among those cut were: SB Jamaica Rector, WR’s Kevin Challenger and Kelton Tindal, DB’s Willie Amos and Gemara Williams, OL’s Jabari Ferguson and Patrick Afif, QB Floyd Haigler, DL Anthony Maddox, DE Larry Birdine, LB’s Frantz Joseph and Greg Whelan, and LS Taylor Inglis who has been with the club since 2005. The new long snapper is non-import linebacker Tim St. Pierre, who has the job due to the fact that he can also hold his own playing defense. Jamaica Rector, who played with the Esks last year, had 532 reviving yards and 1 touchdown. His cut wasn’t so much about his play, but that of Jason Barnes and returner Skylar Green who had better camps then Rector, who had a good one himself. I’ll have a full preview before the opener against B.C. on July 4th Thanks for reading, Mike Wilson
