INDIANAPOLIS — The Giants have avoided providing that one piece of bulletin board material that would be blasted everywhere. But they certainly haven’t shied away from expressing their high level of confidence this week. There has been a steady stream of cocky comments from the Giants, with the most recent example from Chris Canty. The defensive tackle had a message for Giants fans in an interview with New York’s NBC affiliate. “Get ready for a great game on Super Bowl Sunday,” Canty said. “And get ready for a parade on Tuesday.” I’m not sure what the fascination is with parades, but whatever. The point is the Giants aren’t afraid to voice their confidence. Even that isn’t a huge deal — does anyone think any of these players aren’t expecting to win?
