The Green Bay Packers are not scheduled to practice today as game three of the preseason is on tap for Thursday night. The 2-0 Cincinnati Bengals will host the Green Bay Packers at six p.m. Thursday night.

Both teams saw playoff action during the 2011 NFL playoffs and Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy plans on an extended look at the starting offense during the third preseason game. Coach McCarthy stated that the first offensive unit should be on the field for at least a half. The offense needs the work since they have not been putting many points on the board during the early preseason games. Helping the Packers offense is the fact that key players are returning from training camp injuries. Jermichael Finley and Greg Jennings both should see playing time against the Bengals this week also, scheduled to see action this week is newly signed running back Cedric Benson.

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a 24-19 win over the Atlanta Falcons last week. The Packers hope to get into the win column this week and it will not be an easy feet with the Bengals winning the last time the two teams played during the 2009 season.
