You, I, or anyone with a conscience feel bad when we do something that gets somebody hurt—dropping something on someone’s foot, inadvertently knocking someone over, etc. Imagine if it happened on the job, where you did it to one of the most important employees. I’d feel very guilty. That’s got to be something like the way that Hamza Abdullah (who) feels after this afternoon. During an 11-on-11 drill, Abdullah, a special teams player and reserve defensive back, drilled running back Beanie Wells. Wells, as most Cardinals fans know, is probably the team’s most important offensive player behind Larry Fitzgerald. A serious injury to him would greatly hamper the team’s chances of a third consecutive division title. Abdullah obviously knows this, and feels terrible.
