Corey noted yesterday that the Jets will in fact have Kris “Big Jinx” Jenkins up for the game against the Patriots on Sunday and that’s a good thing. But I guess I’m just concerned a bit about how much Jenkins will in fact play. Earlier in the week, Jenkins likened how he felt to how he felt the week of the Chargers game last year. If you remember, Jenkins attempted to play, but was unable to go once he got in the game, and stood on the sideline the rest of the night. That game came in Week 3 while this year he feels the same in Week 2. It seems that Jenkins might now have a history of transitioning from preseason to regular season form, but my hope is that he’s going to be able to play through it. While the Jets front has looked better so far this year without Jenkins in, he’s still going to be a big part of this game.
