Landry Hat:
Head's up to college football players looking to enter the NFL: Put down the bongs.
That wacky tobaccy is peering its high head through the weeds of the NFL combines. This time, it affects two possible first round picks in Kansas Jayhawk's cornerback Aqib Talib and Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham. Both are juniors for their college teams.
According to this article, Talib admitted to testing positive three times for marijuana while at college.
Manningham, on the other hand, just flat out lied to teams at the combine. We all know Manningham didn't perform well at the combine, but now we can have the thought in our heads that he blew it because he was stoned off his rocker. Manningham has hired an agent and he came to the NFL pro day with much better test results. Agents usually try to force their clients not to smoke weed.
