Another New York Giant gets a new deal and it’s another Giant whose name is not Osi Umenyiora.
The team extended defensive switch hitter Mathias Kiwanuka to a three year deal year that is worth nearly $15 million dollars.
Osi Umenyiora expressed to the New York Daily News that he’s taking it all in stride.

New York Giants Mock Draft 2012: How a Possible Osi Umenyiora Trade Shakes Up the NYG Draft
Al Bello/Getty Images
Now that they're done kissing the Lombardi trophy, all the New York Giants are left with is poor draft position. The knowledge that their first-round pick will be a second-round talent can at least be alleviated with shiny rings.
Despite their status as the NFL's defending champs, the Giants have plenty of holes to fill,...
New York Giants extend Mathias Kiwanuka
The Giants gave Kiwanuka a 2 year “prove it” deal last offseason after a nasty neck injury and he certainly proved it last year. He played a hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end spot and was above average in both spots. ProFootballFocus graded him out as the 5th best run stuffing outside linebacker (and 7th best overall) and he managed 5 sacks, 8 hits, and 22 pressures in...
New York Giants select David Wilson, Grace B-
I have to wonder if the New York Giants were prepared to take Doug Martin and panicked when the Bucs moved up and landed him with the 31st pick.
David Wilson is a decent prospect, who I gave a 2nd-round grade, but I’m not excited about how he fits in New York.
As long as he holds on to the football he’ll be a quality running back, but just doesn’t project as a difference maker...
Titans In Trade Talks For Giants DE Osi Umenyiora?
Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean tweets that theres some buzz that the Titans could be working on a deal for Giants DE Osi Umenyiora. Wyatt adds, dont get your hopes up, but theres a chance that things could progress depending on the Giants asking price and urgency to deal him. Youd have to think any deal for Umenyiora you most likely take place in the coming...
NY Giants Day 3 Draft Selections
Day 3 of the NFL 2012 Draft is officially over. Now teams are busy as we read and write, scrambling to lock up UFAs that were not drafted. It is Day 3 when you can really make your draft, contrary to all of the media hype of Day 1. Yes, in Day 1 you are talking about much higher probabilities for these players being in the NFL for multiple seasons. Day 3 picks and UFAs can...
Giants take LSU WR Rueben Randle in second round
The New York Giants seemingly found a replacement for Super Bowl hero Mario Manningham, taking LSU's Rueben Randle with the final pick of the second round of the NFL Draft.
Manningham, whose clutch sideline catch ignited a game-winning, fourth-quarterback touchdown drive against the New England Patriots, signed with the San Francisco 49ers as a free agent after last season....
Giants may trade Osi Umenyiora
This morning, Eric Edholm of ProFootballWeekly.com tweeted that both Browns quarterback Colt McCoy and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins could end up getting traded since we now know they’re both on the trade block.
Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger replied to his tweet and said that he should put Osi Umenyiora on that list because you “never know.”
Now we don...
Giants sign defensive tackle Rogers
Hours before the NFL Draft, the New York Giants added depth to their defensive line signing tackle Shaun Rogers.
The Super Bowl champions announced the signing of the 12-year veteran on Thursday.
A three-time Pro Bowler, Rogers spent last season with the New Orleans Saints, starting four games and making 22 tackles. He also has played with Detroit and Cleveland.
Rogers has played...
Rivers aids friend after night on town
Giants linebacker Keith Rivers carried a sick female friend out of New York City's Roosevelt Hospital after he spent a night clubbing with Miami Dolphins star Reggie Bush.
Rivers arrived in New York with a bang after being traded to the Giants from the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks ago.
But a sober-looking Rivers arrived at Roosevelt Hospital's emergency room at 9:30am local...
In Jerry We Trust
This title reflects the mentality of most fans of the defending Super Bowl Champion NY Giants. GM Jerry Reese has done a stellar job winning three NFC East titles along with two Super Bowl Championships. He has drated exceptionally well, been wise with free agent signings, and, as mentioned, built two Super Bowl winners. That is why most Giants fans, myself included, believe Jerry...
Giants sign DT Shaun Rogers
The New York Giants announced the signing of free agent defensive tackle Shaun Rogers on their Twitter page.
I’m not sure how much football Rogers has left in him. He was clearly brought in, in order to add depth to the Giants defensive line. There’s no way he’ll start ahead of Chris Canty or Linval Joseph after a disappointing season in 2011.
This past season with the...
Kate Upton played ping-pong with Jason Pierre-Paul
Brian Kilmeade, perhaps the worst UFC announcer in history, fails to get Kate Upton to remove her clothes during an AXE promotion with NY Giants lineman Jason Pierre-Paul.
Later, JPP and KU played...

Giants Select Virginia Tech RB David Wilson (Rd.1, No.32)
With the 32nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select Virginia Tech RB David Wilson. Wilson is an electrifying runner who opted to come out early after an incredible junior year in which he was named ACC Player of the Year. He truly runs with his own style, and it's obvious that he has a love for the game. He is a high-risk, high-reward player who loves...
