Football Extra Points:
The Patriots are still the best franchise in the AFC. The problem is that their weaknesses are the same every season. They have a weak defense and no deep threat on the outside. Last year they tried to use Chad Johnson and this year is Lloyd, neither are helping out. The defense is young and can be exposed. How far can they go?
Here's a look at their remaining schedule, predictions and the rest of their division
@ St. Louis - Fisher is building something in St. Louis but they're not ready to beat the Pats.
Buffalo - The Bills turn it over too much and can't play defense, Pats win.
Colts - Luck is growing as a rookie but the Pats defense will turn the rookie over.
@ Jets - The Jets hung around last game, but I don't see that happening again. Pats roll.
@ Miami - Another rookie QB for the Pats to harass, no chance for the Dolphins here.
Houston - The Texans and their defense come to New England and pound Brady. Houston has a very good offe...

The Patriots' jaunte across the pond to England is not a vacation -- Tom Brady is making that clear.
After a six hour flight that moved the team's collective watch five hours ahead, however, the Patriots actually did head out for a romp in the park. While the Rams practiced in a field at their hotel, New England took to London's famous -- and very public...
Rob Gronkowski is a crowd pleaser if nothing else. The Patriots tight end was addressing fans in Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday ahead of New England’s game against the St. Louis Rams when he began receiving calls to “spike the mic!”
Gronk started laughing, stopped talking about the Rams, took one look at the mic in his right hand, and happily obliged with a vicious...

There’s few positions in sports like that of a kicker for a football team. They may be on the field for all of a minute of total time during any given week, but there may be no more important player to the outcome of the game.
While most people travel to London for leisure, the New England Patriots are in
England's capital strictly for business -- well, mostly.
Though the 4-3 Pats traveled across the pond to beat the Rams and extend their division lead, it didn't mean that they weren't
allowed to have some fun in their off time.

On Nov. 3, New England Patriots' owner Robert Kraft will receive the inaugural NFL Players Association Georgetown Lombardi Award. The award is given to a sports leader whose life has been touched by cancer, encourages research and prevention through awareness and philanthropy, according to the press release. Bob Kraft lost his wife, Myra, to the disease last year. Kraft will...
Who will represent the AFC in Superbowl XLVIII?
Will a real AFC football team please stand up… I understand Halloween is around the corner and everyone is trying to changeup their identity, but after the first seven weeks of the NFL season, it feels like every team from the American Football Conference has been celebrating Halloween earlier than scheduled. From the 16 teams that...
Fantasy football owners of TE Aaron Hernandez have had to adjust their rosters this season due to his injury issues this season. This week, Hernandez owners will have to once again look elsewhere for production at the tight end position. The New England Patriots will play the St. Louis Rams in London this week, but Aaron Hernandez will not be playing, in fact, he didn’t even make...
According to the New England Patriots official Facebook page, the Pats arrived at Heathrow Airport in London 10 minutes ago, at 2:18 a.m., Eastern time. Below is a photo that the Patriots Facebook and Instagram accounts uploaded yesterday, prior to Vince Wilfork and the team's flight to England.
The Patriots secondary has been the brunt of recent coverage jokes, and rightfully so. The Pats have given up 290 yards of offense through the air per game, ranking them as the fourth-worst team in the NFL in that category. The three teams beneath them are the Saints, Buccaneers and Redskins, who have a combined record of 7-12. Yet, with all of their defensive woes, New England sits...

CBS Also Golden This Season
By Bruce Allen
When a couple celebrates their 50th wedding anniversary there is often a natural tendency to look back at the “glory days” of the past. In the case of the New England Patriots and CBS sports...
