MVN Bills:
Eventually...
I know what you're thinking. This guy is crazy. Dick Jauron fired his O.C. , you've never heard of a single guy on the Bills O-line, Trent Edwards hasn't done anything to prove to you he can win games.
Well you're right! ...Kinda...
There offense may not impress you and there defense is far from dominating but the New England Patriots have a lot more question marks than you think. Tom Brady will be testing his knee and shoulder in the first regular season game since the season ending injury. Wes Welker has been listed as questionable because of a nagging knee injury.
Okay so say Tom Brady does as well as we all expect. He throws for 2 TDs, 270 yards etc. Well that's 14 points. Maybe Fred Taylor adds a TD making it 21 points. But how can you have faith in a defense that was average at best last season and has lost all its key contributors.
No more Mike Vrabel, Tedy Bruschi, Rodney Harrison, Richard Seymour. You lose four pro bowlers on your defense, I don't care who the coach is your team is going to struggle.
So go ahead if you're the gambling type take the Patriots -11 points but don't come crying to me when you lost your 4 team parlay on it.
I know I said they would win but i've changed my mind Patriots LOSE this game, 31-24. After all they have history going against them. No team in NFL history has EVER beaten an opponent in 12 straight games.
