PLAYERS: Joe Flacco
TEAMS: Baltimore Ravens
If the Ravens don't win this week and win big, their hope of a Super Bowl run is over.  They need to make a statement this week. After an average Thanksgiving week of picks I'm sitting at 114-63.  I need to step my game up as we sprint to the postseason. Jacksonville at Buffalo - Chad Henne is proving that he can play QB in the NFL.  I liked him in Miami and thought they should have held onto him.  The Jaguars are not a good team, but Henne's value increases every week. The Bills are one of many teams in the NFL that will be looking at the QB position as soon as the season ends.  They have a running game, some receivers and a solid TE on offense, they need a QB that won't turn it over.  Their defense is a mess too but there's too much to get into here. I'll go with Henne and the Jaguars here. Seattle at Chicago - This is a match-up of two very good defenses.  The Seahawks have an elite RB to go along with their great defense.  They...

John Harbaugh reportedly diffused Ravens player revolt back in October

The Baltimore Ravens may have one of the best records in football, but that doesn’t mean their season has been free of problems — both on the field and behind the scenes. In fact, just last month head coach John Harbaugh found himself having to work through a player revolt that started when several Ravens veterans did not want to practice in pads. According to Michael Silver...

Ravens Injury Report: Safety Bernard Pollard Sits Out Thursday

The Baltimore Ravens continued their practice preparations on Thursday as they get ready to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The Thursday injury report shows just a few minor changes for the 9-2 team. Not practicing for a second straight day for the Ravens were tight end Ed Dickson (knee), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ankle, knee), and wide receiver Jacoby Jones (ankle)...

Ravens' Lewis could be targeting Dec. 16 return against Broncos

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis could return to action as early as Dec. 16 for a game against Denver. Lewis, who is recovering from a torn triceps on Oct. 14, was eligible to begin practicing Thursday and could be activated from injured reserve/designated to return for that game against the Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning, ESPN.com reported. Ravens coach John Harbaugh...

Ray Lewis to return to play the Broncos in Week 15

Ray Lewis was not supposed to come back this year. He tore his triceps in Week 6 against the Cowboys, and John Harbaugh referred to that as a season ending injury. That coupled with the other season ending injury to Ladarius Webb, the Ravens best corner, and it was thought that the Ravens season could be heading in a bad direction.Unfortunately for Patriots fans, that didn't happen...

Prediction Saturday: Ravens go for 16th straight home win

The Ravens will meet the Steelers for the second time in three weeks. The Steelers will be without high profile players Ben Roethlisberger and LaMarr Woodley, but get back safety Troy Polamalu. Two weeks ago, the Ravens defeated Pittsburgh 13-10 at Heinz Field. I expect the same result, but a different score this time. The Ravens haven’t lost a home game since Week 13 of the 2010...

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens: Week 13 NFL Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) at Baltimore Ravens (9-2) 2 weeks ago, the Steelers were riding high at 6-3, including a recent win over the Giants in New York and looked like they had a chance to take control of the division with a win at home against the then 7-2 Baltimore Ravens. However, Ben Roethlisberger got hurt late against Kansas City and has been unable to play in each of their...

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens: Round Two Of Slugfest

This Sunday, in NFL Week 13’s late afternoon headliner, the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens have the opportunity to all but lock up first place in the AFC North division by knocking off the 6-5 Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Ravens look to cap off an undefeated three-game stretch, which has been described as the most difficult part of their schedule. They...

Flacco hits Boldin for first touchdown of the game

The Ravens went from down by three points to up by 10 points. Joe Flacco hit Anquan Boldin with a 28-yard touchdown pass to give the Ravens a 13-3 lead in the second quarter. Flacco is just 11-for-22 passing today and has one interception. The Ravens are pressuring the Steelers’ offense with a heavy rush and bottling up Jonathan Dwyer. There’s two minutes to go in the first half.

Steelers Versus Ravens: Prediction & 7 Keys To The Game – Week 13

The Pittsburgh Steelers look to prevent a three game losing streak Sunday against the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens and it will not be an easy task on the road. The Ravens can clinch the AFC North with a win and a loss by the Cincinatti Bengals and nothing would be more satisfying then to stop the bleeding by beating them and bring them back a little closer to the pack in the process. Below...

Tucker ties game with 45-yard field goal

The Ravens are on the board in the second quarter. Joe Flacco finally led the offense to Pittsburgh’s side of the 50-yard line. Flacco and the offense, aided by rookie running back Bernard Pierce, went into Pittsburgh territory deep enough to set up a field goal opportunity for rookie kicker Justin Tucker. Tucker hit the 45-yard chance making him 23-for-25 this season. In the second...
