There were plenty of big story lines this week. SportsCenter will play all of them on repeat for the next 72 hours. But if you want to get the scoop and avoid seeing the “Discount Double Check” commercial 63 times (and not the good one with B.J. Raji), allow us to break down the highlights and low-lights of week 5, in a way that only the Chicks can. Let’s Hit it and Quit it, people!

Hit It

Even with a losing record, Drew Brees is still breaking records. How fitting that he broke the original “#19″ Johnny Unitas’ record for consecutive games with a touchdown to the Saints’ #19, Devery Henderson.

Quit It

The Patriots/Broncos game almost lived up to all the hype. That is until Willis McGahee did what Willis McGahee does. Can you imagine how epic it would have been if Manning had been able to orchestrate that comeback? Protect the damn ball, McGahee!

Hit It

For all of you who have been waiting for the four leaf clover to finally sprout out of Andrew Luck’s butt, it finally happened! He showed great poise while leading the Colts’ to a comeback win against the Packers. That, or the Packers’ defense truly, truly sucks.

Quit It

Falcons. As in quit winning. Nola Chick doesn’t like it.

Hit It

Speaking of the dirty turds, we hear that hit they put on RGIII may not have been as bad as it looked. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan says Robert Griffin III still has to undergo some neurological tests but he isn’t showing any symptoms from the concussion.

Quit It

It was classy of Skins fans to cheer when they saw Griffin was able to walk off the field. The opposite of that is what Chiefs fans did when Matt Cassel went down. Hoping your QB gets an ingrown toenail or something so that the backup QB can at least get a few snaps in is one thing. Cheering that any player suffers a significant injury, for any reason, is downright douchy.

Quit It…again!

So…what’s the over-under on Mike Vick finding a way to lose a game for the Eagles on their bye week?
