I’m late. Does it seem like I have an excuse every week as to why I’m late? I don’t. That’s your imagination. This week, let’s go with … church. Yes, I was at church. Because if God is the reason Ray Lewis wins football games, I want Him to help me become an origami master. Doesn’t seem like too much to ask. The Greek is on location, though, and has filed a remote report while I attempt to get myself together. He wants me to pass on a complaint about the bar, but I think it he comes off as the *****. I’ll let you decide. The Greek is upset because he ordered a Chimay, whatever the **** that is, and they served it to him in “the wrong type of glass.” He thinks this an example of inexcusable service; I think it says more about the guy who expects his local BDubs to have a team of Beer Sommeliers on hand. Anyway, football ‒ I’ve missed a chunk of the first quarter, and Atlanta’s about to go up by 10 already. A mild surprise, if you’ve been listening to most pundits all week. I like

Fair Or Foul, Ray Lewis Use Of No Weapons In Post Game Comments? (Video)

Ray Lewis is going to make a lot of money as a motivational speaker in a few weeks when his playing days are over.  We all know Ray Lewis the leader, the tackling machine, and premier middle linebacker in NFL history. Many of our younger NFL fans are not aware of the Ray Lewis that fought for his life in a double murder trial in 2000.  Lewis was eventually charged with obstructing...

Seven Reasons Why Baltimore Belongs To Ray Lewis

There are some things that will always be synonymous with the city of Baltimore: there’s the delicious MD crab cakes; the hit TV series, “The Wire”; and Ray Anthony Lewis, middle linebacker of the Ravens. From fans heading to M&T Bank Stadium to see #52 do his pre-game dance live and in-person, to becoming the face of a new franchise, Ray Lewis was the “end all, be...

The Ravens and Broncos battled into two overtimes for one of the most memorable NFL playoff games in history, and the leaders of each team played their hearts out. Peyton Manning Congratulates Ray Lewis After the Game

After losing in double overtime and losing to the Baltimore Ravens 38-35 after skipping his post game interview, met with Ray Lewis in the locker room. Let’s consider what it is they could’ve discussed. Perhaps Peyton was asking Rev Ray tips on a speech to give his team next year. [...]

Peyton Manning sticks around after the Game to congratulate Ray Lewis

Today’s Ravens/Broncos AFC Showdown was arguably the best game of the season. It was back and forth all game, and was sealed in Overtime by a Justin Tucker field goal. It sent the one-seed Broncos packing, and continued the legacy of Ray Lewis who says he is retiring at the end of the season. It was the first season the Broncos had Peyton Manning, and it was a remarkable season...

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday that Lewis, who retired after the Super Bowl, ''has not expressed an interest to coach.'' Harbaugh expects Lewis to do ''many amazing and powerful things'' in retirement following a 17-year run as Baltimore...

Manning and family congratulated Lewis after playoff game

Peyton Manning and his family took some time to congratulate Ray Lewis following their Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday. This photo was taken over 90 minutes after the game by the Ravens Director of Media Relations, Chad Steele. Most of America was either asleep or watching Colin Kaepernick run over the Packers defense by this time.

I don’t know what to say. It’s really hard to defend Peyton Manning, like I have done for years, when he seemingly shrunk late in the fourth quarter and OT in the Denver Broncos’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens. So I won’t. Instead, we can talk about this picture with Peyton and Ray Lewis at the end of the game.

A New Rocky Mountain Low

In the days leading up to what was supposed to be Ray Lewis’ retirement party, Denver and national sports broadcasters had already written off the Baltimore Ravens and anointed the Denver Broncos the Super Bowl champions. In his post game interview, Peyton Manning stated that his team was excited about playing in the AFC Championship [...]

Peyton Manning throws OT pick, dooms Broncos

It was supposed to be an easy day for the Denver Broncos by all accounts, but the Baltimore went toe to toe, tit for tat with them throughout, and in the first overtime period, Peyton Manning rolled out in Brett Favre like fashion and threw the interception that eventually set up Justin Tucker's 47-yard game winning field goal in double OT. Ray Lewis lives to see another...
