A perfect example of the true essence of the Raider Nation could be found on Saturday at Jarrod Cooper's Code 597 event to raise money and awareness for the Oakland Animal Shelter. The Nation came together in full battle gear, not to rape and pillage, not because they were doing community service to work off a fine, but to give their time and effort to a worthy cause.
